Retrotec’s Leakage Split Kit is designed for advanced blower door testing scenarios where isolating upper and lower leakage paths can make the difference between a passing or failing enclosure. When paired with dual-fan setups such as the 5200, 6200, or 7200 systems, the kit allows you to split airflow and measure leakage from two zones independently—typically upper and lower sections of a building.

This method is especially effective for structures with greater upper-level leakage, where a traditional single-zone test might fall short. By separating zones, you gain clearer insight into leakage distribution and can often reduce or eliminate the need for pressure relief vents (PRVs) during testing.
