Multiple Flow Pressure Relief Vents
The PV range of dual-acting pressure relief vents is a breakthrough development in pressure relief technology for gaseous extinguishing systems. These gravity-balanced vents ensure foolproof operation and deliver excellent efficiency with a validated free vent area across all pressure levels. The vents are designed to begin opening at 60 to 80 Pascals and are fully open at 125 Pascals in both directions.
With over 75% free vent area at 125 Pascals, the PV vents reduce the need for multiple vents, smaller holes, and less construction work. This design provides an optimal solution with a wider size range, improving both performance and ease of installation.
The PV range is fire-rated for up to 2 hours to EN1364-1, with certification (pending) and verified operation. Detailed measurement reports are available upon request.
The range is offered in two kits: one for internal use (PV vent) and one for external use (PV vent with a louvre). The external kit includes a choice of a fixed blade or dynamic louvre, ensuring enhanced weather resistance. When installing in doors or narrow walls, the external wall flange serves as a cover trim.
Standard-sized models are available in stock, with special sizes available on request, delivered within 6 to 10 weeks.
